We looked like the young team we are for much of the game. I was very happy that the kids fought back from 13 down at half to make it a ball game in the 3rd. We didn’t shoot FT’s well at all, that might have been the difference. Flinthills is very scrappy and they run their stuff well and play hard. We will learn from this and get better. Sophomore Camren Clements and Senior Kyson Perrin were named to the All-Tournament T equals team. We are now 3-1 on the year and have a very tough week before break. We play 3A Caney Valley tomorrow here at Oxford, then travel to #3 ranked Attica on Friday. The young Wildcats will get tested this week, but that’s okay, we need these games to prepare us for the long season ahead in the SCBL. Belle Plaine basketball:Marion Tournament: Eureka 55 Belle Plaine 51. Scoring: Bo Gooch 19, Clayton Happy 6, Peyton Nolan 8, Caleb Stover 2, Brandon Happy 16. Total 17/55, 6/24, 11/14.Follow us on Twitter. Close Forgot password?
