The Dutch government put Croatia on the orange list on Tuesday night. This decision immediately had a negative effect on our tourism, and the cancellation of reservations to renters, hotels and agencies began. That is why the Dutch themselves launched an action, ie a petition in which the goal is to collect 40.000 signatures in order to send a message to their government to give an argument for their decision with the aim of returning Croatia to the yellow list. The petition has so far been signed by 1.650 people, and we invite you to sign the petition yourself and share it through your social networks and channels. Sign the petition: Croatia back to the south Why Croatia came to that list and by what criteria, no one knows, not even the Dutch themselves. Obviously there are some other frameworks, because if you look at the epidemiological situation, then many other countries such as Austria, France, etc. should have been on the orange list. News that shocked all tourism workers, especially due to the fact that there are no other countries on the orange list that are in a worse epidemiological situation than us. It is a great story that the petition was initiated by the Dutch themselves, our previous guests and those who have already booked accommodation in Croatia, because they want to come on holiday to Croatia.
So far, Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden has been able to control his press conferences with pre-assigned questions for media and voters to ask, until yesterday.A woman of color, Portia Bennett, 31, attended Joe Biden’s event in Kenosha, Wisconsin Thursday and dared to deviate from a “paper” she was given telling her what to say.Well, she decided to go “off script” and ask Biden about the rioting and police violence against the black community in her city.“I’m just going to be honest, Mr Biden. I was told to go off this paper, but I can’t.”She said “you need the truth, and I’m part of the truth.”Bennett says the community is “heavily angry” at the rioters, not the protesters. She says she was born and raised in Kenosha and “we live here.” She wants to see more action and hold the officers accountable, just as she would be arrested if she shot someone. She asked Biden, “Why are there more police officers in the black neighorhood?Bennett says she is a mother of a 13 and 9-year-old.She wants the same exact rights as others.Watch the full clip here.
